{"id":17353,"date":"2021-10-28T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-10-28T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flood-protection.org\/wateromleiding-van-beken-kanalen-de-economisch-en-ecologisch-duurzame-aanpak\/"},"modified":"2025-09-10T11:27:10","modified_gmt":"2025-09-10T11:27:10","slug":"wateromleiding-van-beken-kanalen-de-economisch-en-ecologisch-duurzame-aanpak","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nofloods.com\/nl\/wateromleiding-van-beken-kanalen-de-economisch-en-ecologisch-duurzame-aanpak\/","title":{"rendered":"Omleiding van water in beken  kanalen: de economisch en ecologisch duurzame aanpak"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>De &#8220;MetsterMill&#8221; in Sint-Truiden, Belgi\u00eb, zou een grondige architecturale renovatie ondergaan door aannemer ABB, namens de eigenaar.<\/p>\n\n<p>De molenmuur aan de Melsterbeek moest herbouwd worden omdat de funderingen niet langer adequaat waren.<\/p>\n\n<p>Bovendien was de staat van het molenbassin onbekend, bijvoorbeeld: was er een betonnen vloer aanwezig? In welke staat verkeerde deze? Was er uitloging eronder?  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>De uitdaging: omleiding van een beek om een deel van de waterkant droog te leggen<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Om de renovatie mogelijk te maken, moest een deel van de waterkant volledig drooggelegd worden; eerst voor een grondige inspectie en ten tweede voor de daadwerkelijke renovatie.<\/p>\n\n<p>Nu, het afsluiten van een natuurlijke beek met een aarden dam is niet complex MAAR de Melsterbeek bevindt zich tussen het molengebouw en een openbare weg, net voor een brug waaronder de Melsterbeek stroomt.<\/p>\n\n<p>Er was daarom geen mogelijkheid om een natuurlijke beekomleiding te cre\u00ebren door uitgraving.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>De oplossing: gebruik van NoFloods Bypass tijdelijke barri\u00e8res<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aqwatt.com\/en\/cases\/eco-friendly-mobile-dam-and-aqueduct-by-flexible-tubes-for-bypassing-the-metstermill-in-belgium\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AQwatt<\/a>, onze Belgische partner, werd ingeschakeld om een droog werkgebied te cre\u00ebren door het gebruik van NoFloods bypass tijdelijke barri\u00e8res.<\/p>\n\n<p>Dit bestond uit het gebruik van de <a href=\"https:\/\/nofloods.com\/nofloods-removable-flood-barrier\/\">NoFloods FlexWall<\/a> om een &#8220;dam&#8221; te bouwen en 2 flexibele <a href=\"https:\/\/nofloods.com\/inflatable-flood-barriers\/\">dubbele buizen<\/a> die als afvoerbuizen fungeren.<\/p>\n\n<p>Vervolgens werd een kleinere FlexWall aan het einde geplaatst om te voorkomen dat water terugstroomt.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-result\"><strong>Het resultaat<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Het water werd stroomopwaarts opgestuwd en natuurlijk via de ge\u00efntegreerde twin tubes stroomafwaarts getransporteerd.<\/p>\n\n<p>Dit werd gedaan zonder pompen, geluid, energieverbruik of problematische inbreuk op het milieu.<\/p>\n\n<p>Bekijk de video hieronder om te zien hoe onze Belgische partner een droog werkgebied kon cre\u00ebren door het gebruik van de NoFloods omleiding tijdelijke buizen om de beek om te leiden.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-embed-handler wp-block-embed-embed-handler wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Bypass Waterways - Sustainable Bypass of Streams and Canals\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3ORzxVcQCB4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n<p>P.S.
