Yes, pumps are required to fill the barriers, but it’s not mandatory to purchase them separately. The Terminals come equipped with Storz couplings, which can be adapted to any standard system used by the deployment team, Fire Brigade, or other first responders. While you can use any pump to fill the barriers, it is recommended to have a pump capacity of at least 100 m3/hour per 100 meters, whether you use one or several pumps. High-volume pumps with a capacity of up to 18-40,000 Liters per minute (18-40 m3 per minute) can also be used. If needed, pumps and all associated equipment (suction hose, fire hose, etc.) are available in the “Toolbox” offered.
