Live cases where the Flood Barrier has been successfully deployed

As a company, we base our solution on our extensive knowledge of flood protection and water-related projects. Having deployed our barriers more than 200 times in challenging conditions and worked ‘shoulder to shoulder’ with emergency agencies from multiple countries in all kinds of weather conditions—storms, snow, freezing temperatures, rain, and extreme heat—we have been able to continuously improve our flood barriers for the benefit of our customers.

We have strong live cases from storms and many countries all over the world. Below, you will explore selected deployments. For more recent cases, please visit our website, where we have listed photos and videos.

Denmark 2015. Storm surge.

The NoFloods TwinTube 125 PRO was deployed on a very wet, marshy surface but due to its light weight before deployment, it was possible to deploy 1 km of the barrier. The barrier successfully held back approximately 0.9 m to 1.0 m of water and remained deployed for 4 days.

Denmark 2015 – deployment on swampy surface

France 2014:

The NoFloods TwinTube 125 PRO was successfully deployed in water (curative deployment). After deployment, the water was pumped back to the “right” side of the road.

France 2014 – Deployment on asphalt after dike breach

Hungary 2013:

The NoFloods TwinTube 125 PRO was deployed on a combination of gravel, grass, and asphalt. The barrier successfully held back 0.92 m of water and remained deployed for 7 days protecting a large gas facility.

Hungary 2013 – deployment on mixed terrain

Upon request, we can provide further live case examples documenting the barriers’ efficiency and stability.
