This week we trained firefighters and natural disaster ground crew personnel from the Fire Department of the Moravian-Silesian Region on how to use the mobile flood barrier. The mobile flood barrier effectively marks a new era in fighting floods in the Czech Republic. A region that has been hit hard by floods, causing significant damage to communities and infrastructure.
Our Nofloods barriers were used in a major exercise in the municipality of Rubiera, located in the province of Reggio Emilia, Italy. The exercise was organized by the provincial civil protection of Reggio Emilia which involved several municipalities including technicians and managers from the Emilia Romagna Region. (more…)
