Temporary Firewater Containment for Electric Vehicle Incidents
Contain firefighting and cooling water where it is needed
Electric vehicle incidents can require significant amounts of water for firefighting and battery cooling. Managing and containing that water can be an important part of the response, particularly where there is a risk of uncontrolled runoff into drains, soil or nearby water bodies.
EasyWall can be deployed around a vehicle to create a temporary containment area for firefighting and cooling water. The modular barrier can be installed when needed and removed again after the incident, making it suitable for locations where a permanent containment structure is neither practical nor required.

A temporary containment area around the vehicle
The EasyWall modules are connected to form a perimeter around the vehicle or incident area. As water accumulates inside the contained area, the barrier is supported by the water pressure, helping retain the water within the defined area.
The modular system makes it possible to adapt the containment area to the available space and the type of location.

Where can the solution be used?
EasyWall firewater containment is designed for locations where electric vehicles are parked, charged or operated and where temporary containment may form part of the site’s emergency preparedness. The modular setup can be adapted to different vehicle sizes and site layouts, making it relevant for:
- Multi-storey and underground car parks
- Public and private parking areas
- EV charging locations
- Fleet and depot facilities
- Industrial and commercial sites
- Municipal facilities and emergency-preparedness locations

Ready for deployment – the NoFloods ParkSafe EV Box
For sites that want to keep the equipment together and ready for use, the NoFloods ParkSafe EV Box provides a compact on-site storage solution.
The box contains 18 straight EasyWall modules and 12 corner modules, allowing a temporary containment pool of up to 5.4 metres inner diameter.
Despite the amount of equipment stored inside, the ParkSafe EV Box has a footprint of only 90 × 120 cm, making it practical for parking facilities and other locations where storage space is limited.
Keeping the components together in one dedicated unit means the equipment can be positioned close to the area where it may be needed, rather than having individual components stored in different locations.
Why contain firefighting and cooling water?
Water used during an EV incident may need to be managed rather than allowed to flow away uncontrolled. Depending on the location and incident, runoff can reach drainage systems, surrounding soil or surface water.
A temporary containment solution gives operators and response teams an additional way to manage the water at the incident area until it can be handled appropriately.
