See Cutting-Edge Flood Protection at Our France Demo Tour
Our 2018 summer season kicked off with various new activities, including product demonstrations across several European countries.
These demos aimed to showcase the effectiveness of our flood protection systems to public agencies and decision-makers facing increasing threats from severe weather and rising water levels.
A Strong Start in Northern France
Our first stop was the municipality of Thourotte in northern France where we held a demonstration on June 11th, 2018.
This area has experienced serious challenges due to flooding from the Canal latéral à l’Oise, a waterway that runs through the city and often causes significant damage during flood events.
In response to these recurring issues, the Department of Fire and Rescue Service invited us to demonstrate the NoFloods barriers and explore how they could be used to improve local flood protection efforts.
Positive Response from Local Stakeholders
The demonstration was attended by representatives from the Fire and Rescue Service, the local municipality and a major risk management firm.
We were pleased to receive overwhelmingly positive feedback from all parties who were impressed by the speed, simplicity and reliability of the NoFloods barrier system.

Our Partnership In France
For over a decade, Environment Solutions has been proud to support La Sécurité Civile, the French civil protection agency, with advanced flood protection systems.
Based on extensive testing and deployment experience, La Sécurité Civile has chosen the NoFloods Barrier as its primary solution for managing floods across France.
Our systems have been successfully deployed in cities such as Redon and Pontivy where they help reduce the impact of flooding events and protect lives and property.

Recognized at the Highest Level
Flooding has become a national concern in France, prompting action and attention from senior government officials.
In one of our notable demonstrations, the French Minister of the Interior witnessed the NoFloods system in action during a 2016 exercise conducted for Radio France in Paris.
The Minister’s presence (wearing a brown jacket in the image below) highlighted the importance of advanced flood solutions and the growing recognition of the NoFloods barriers as a critical part of the country’s flood defense strategy.
